A friend of a friend who works at blizzard told me that the game won't be ready until 2010 at the earliest. Personally, I'm psyched about it. Although, I wonder what it will be like, battlefor middle earth? Warcraft III? I just hope they don't screw up the best war/strategy game franchise ever. Any thoughts?

I've heard the project was officially scraped last time I heard it mentioned. They even scrapped StarCraft: Ghost. I don't even know how much of the team is left from that original development and I worry that a sequel now may be too late. I just hope that should they decide to make one, they don't turn it into an MMORPG like WarCraft. I mean those games are fun in the beginning, but after awhile they drag on too much and it's time for a new game.

I'm not a fan of MMORPG, and they had better keep StarCraft RTS. I do think that they time for them to release SC2 has long past, and I really doubt they will release a new one any time soon!
I agree with you. You must release these games while the demand is there for a sequel and people still remember the game. I think I saw an ad recently online for a sequel to the Secret of Mana called the Dawn of Mana being released this month for the PS2, despite the fact that the PS3 was released a half-year ago. I imagine it would sell, but I believe at this point they should make PS2 games with the option to save a PS3-style gamesave to avoid having to make numerous virtual discs.

Yeahhh man. Video looks sick.
I know toss were always strongest, but what the hell did they do now? The freakin mothership took out the whole terran base by itself. I like the "war of the world" looking tripod things they got now though.
