Caller are stating that I sound low. I hear them just fine on my end.
I have been given the admin password. I know that I can adjust the FXS port gain to help this problem. I just don't know if it is the input or output.
Any help appreciated

SPEAK UP! LOL just kidding it's the input gain. Valid setting are from a positive 6 to negative infinity.

even an admin password won't allow this setting to stay put if you continue to be provisioned. They will stay put until the next config refresh, then be overwritten. It should be long enough for you to test the settings, then you can open a ticket with VT to get them to make those settings a part of your provisioned configuration.

When I test changing settings I usually turn provisioning off. When I finish testing I submit a ticket and turn provisioning back on.

That is exactly what I am doing right now. I have turned off provisioning and as soon as I am confident that the new changes are ok, I will open ticket to have it provisioned.

I would advise against turning provisioning off for such a simple configuration change. If provisioning is disabled, any global updates would not be applied to your device. If you need something adjusted, you may simply submit a ticket to support and we would be happy to edit your device's configuration file.

Thanks I am planning on opening a trouble ticket to that effect. I was just making sure that the current setting was ok before I had VT provision it in.
Thanks for you help though.
PS: It is great to see a company that takes a active interest in their customers satisfaction.

This is why I suggested turning provisioning off only when testing and then submitting a ticket when you have determined the settings you want. I don't believe anyone in this thread suggested turning provisioning off permanently for this change.
