Hey Guys has anyone had a problem using the DND feature? I have mine set to run between 5pm and 11pm M-F and anyone not on my Whitelist is still unable to reach me before and after those hours? I have tried to delete and add each day again but still the same results.

I had the same problem when i first set DND. There's actually 2 differnt things on the DND page. The DND times that you configure on the page are active when you add them. You disable them by clicking the button alongside the time. The DND button at the top is simply to toggle DND on and off. So if you want some private time you click enable and no calls will come through unless they are in your whitelist. Toggle DND off and see if that fixes it.

If the toggle doesn't fix it... Is it 24-hours? Or is just start/end and hour or two early/late? It could be a time zone or DST problem.

In my experience, the DND feature works reasonably well, but it can be confusing as to how to set it up. And if you goof when setting it up, you can run into some seemingly strange DND behaviors.
As another poster mentioned, do NOT use that big button to toggle the DND on. That button will turn on DND for all times (i.e. 24/7 DND). Leave that button off (and instead set the individual DND times), unless you just happen to want DND "right now" for some reason. i.e. That button is handy if (as another poster put it) you want a little "quiet time", and will manually turn off DND when you want to receive calls. but in all other cases you want to leave that button off and just set the individual DND times.
If that's not the problem, than triple-check your times (and which "time zones" are listed on your DND page). I know that the only time I was having a serious DND problem, it turned out to a subtle mistake in how I set up my DND times (in my case, I set one time to start in the AM, when I really wanted it to start in the PM). And when looking over those times, be sure to triple-check that the time zone (on that web page) is set properly for your area (so as to make sure you are reading times relative to your local area, instead of some other time zone). I know that page has a nasty habit of changing the time zone, and if you don't have the proper time zone set, your times may be off by an hour or three...

Thanks everyone for your help. I did have the master "DND" button toggled to "on" . I will try it out with it off and see how it performs over the next couple days.

As a historical point, we did not have the toggle feature originally and it was implemented as a user request. Hopefully it will be cleaned up a bit in the new CP -- it's not there at all in the demo version.
