I wish someone would write a Cpanel and mostly a WHM book for Dummies.

Keeping in mind I have printed and put in a notebook the whole Cpanel and WHM help for their web page and read it cover to cover more than once. This includes my trouble ticket from hostrocket printed off and put in for reference.

I am a work at home in an office off my house old women. I have a few temps in and out but mostly just me working 12 hours a day, 6 days a week and know so many people just like me who did not grow up with computers and are lost when it comes to WHM.
I had a few women in business over to my office which some of use hostrocket shared servers and I showed them my dedicated server and told them how much I like "what I understand of it". That they should upgrade to instead of buying a new hosting service for each domain name. All say no way because they WHM might as well be in Greek to use “not growing up with computer” crowd.

Anyway, I wish someone would write a detailed Cpanel and mostly WHM for “Dummies”. For us old work at home Mommies and Grandmas who do all those craft and parenting web sites developers never visit so they never make software people like us. If you don’t believe me visit any free and for sell script directory and you will find a billion businesses and game scripts and very few if any craft or parenting scripts.

Just me 2 cents I post on different forums off and on trying to wake up the development community! Never ceases to amaze me why developers try to sell to the young crowd when it is us old work at home women who have the money, credit cards, and get the business minority loans.

I think that is the point of WHM/Cpanel. It's kind of like WHM/Cpanel for Linux dummies.

Instead of configuring everything through the command line interface, you get a graphical interface.

If you are just running your own site and web hosting/scripting isn't your main interest or line of work. Perhaps you can pay someone to manage that side of things for you.

http://www.cpanel.net, you can surf the forums there and find people who specialize in exactly what you are talking about.

Thanks for the input but it would be nice if someone put out a book explaining how cpanel and WHM work in details for us who did not grow up with computer and web design/computer lingo. I printed the whole Cpanel/WHM online manual and put it in a book but it is not very details.

Call me old fashion but I really like paperbooks I can read on how software works. A book I can make notes in and highlight stuff. I can then use the book while the program is open to work with it instead of going from computer window to computer window trying to keep my place.

Like how zencart did http://www.lulu.com/content/466605 at lulu self publishing. I would buy more software of programs would make real directions to go with them.

I am an expert at corel draw software these days because anything I need - Just pop open the book and there is the answer. I learned the whole program instead and out.

Not all of us like to read off computer screen....

Thanks for the input however I would still love a REAL book on Cpanel and WHM.
