I signed up for Viatalk and dumped Vonnage because ViaTalk came out with the 2 years for the price of one deal...

So, after a while, I decided to dump qwest for my second (teenagers) line.

I wanted ViaTalk to get my business... so I called them to ask if they had a 2fer for the seond line.

They didn't, so I went with SunRocket and their 2fer... $209 total for 2 years.

I rather would have given my business to ViaTalk... but now when they're not willing to deal.

Quality matters, too. I sincerely hope your SunRocket experience is positive, but check out the forums and rankings at broadbandreports.com. That largely influenced my decision on where to go after Vonage.

$229 for 1 year + 1 year free is now available at viatalk.com

But are you saying that if you one phone line at the promo price of $229 for 2 years that you cannot get a second line at that same promo price?

Did you ask for a business line specifically? If so I don't think they offer any type of promos on them.

I just got out of SunRocket hell. So thankful viatalk was plugged in and worked straight out the box. Sunrocket and Verizon Fios never really wanted to play properly. They claim it was the actiontec router that we had, but their tech support was so convoluted it wasnt funny.

I spent 364 days with SunRocket, which was 300+ too many. ViaTalk has been pretty much flawless and my wife is no longer beating me about the head because of crummy phone service. :-) It literally was that bad, especially the one-way phone calls..

If SunRocket starts getting bad for you, at least there is no contract so you can come back at any time.

Good luck,

Ray

Wow, I'm so glad I chose Viatalk 9 months ago when I first jumped into VOIP. It was between SunRocket and Viatalk.
