Wrtp54g with viatalk

Hello All,

Just letting everyone know that a wrtp54g that is configured with Vonage once unlocked and flashed with the linksys firmware 3.1.24 which is for a wrtp54g-na does work. Went out and got this unit over the weekend and tried playing with other ver's of the firmware as in the 1.00.62-NA which i found on the net, but with the 1.00.62-NA ver is the firmware it is more on the nature of Vonage settings, now using the 3.1.24 gives you the full access to everything down to every setting there is in the unit. and there is alot.

So overall already started the porting of my vonage line here to viatalk.

As far as using dishnetwork when it calls in works fine, Same with our security system did some tests with that.

The only thing i run into a problem with is sending fax's using a fax modem with fax software.

If anyone comes across tweaks for this let me know thanks.

This is the default dial string i am using:

As everyone can see above this is for a WRTP54G with 3.1.22, Question for all if anyone has any tweaks in other linksys line of products would be pertaining to using a Fax, I am using a fax modem and have tried a few things and still will not send the whole fax, has anyone done any tweaking and came up with something that works good?

P.S. The above settings are only set to richmond. and not using the ViaTalks Dns.

Hey all i am using a linksys wrtp54g with firmware 3.1.24 on it. which all linksys voip routers are about the same pertaining to the settings. So would anyone that is using a fax in it care to share there settings?
