Right now my viatalk adapter isn't obtaining an IP address for some reason do you know why?

Check your firewall and turn it off and then power cycle the phone adapter.

I did and it still isn't working... besides.. when I try to ping the device with the ip address it still isn't working... It is weard... Actually this device has been working perfectly in the past but now for some reason since yesterday it hasn't worked...

I am assuming you have a router of sort and that is most likely your problem. Are you able to connect the phone directly to your modem and get service?

Well I figured out what the problem was unfortnally it was my hub... THanks for the help guys...
