View Full Version : Time Format

I apologize if I am double posting here, but could not seem to find this question in any of the other forums on here.

When customers log into their control panel online and check their call logs, whether outgoing, incoming, or total the time stamp only shows in 24 hour time format. Now for me this is not a big issue. For some others out there it might be. What I think is a nice feature is adding another box somewhere on there where you can select to view it in 24 hour or 12 hour time stamp format. Or just change it to show 12 hour time stamp permanently. Which ever is fine by me but I am sure there might be some folks that are using their fingers or some other way to figure out what 22:00 hours mean. This posting is in no way meant to offend anyone and I apologize if it does. Just a feature I thought that could be added to better understand the time format of calls. I have attached a screen shot of the time format in the control panel. Any feedback is grately appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I completely agree with this suggestion.

I would also like to add that the timestamp you can request to be turned on and heard when retrieving vmail through the phone be skewed for the timezone of the user. When timestamps are announced in my voicemail, it is announced in EST. Would be preferable for me to hear it in PST. :)

Thanks for your feedback. Let's see if anyone from tech support stop by and glance at our suggestions. This shouldn't be too much to ask. There are several other VOIP companies that already offer this feature. :D

Appropriate time zone for voicemails would also be nice.
