I would like to not have to log into Control Panel so often to get rid of messages that I've already listened to in my email. Could there be a link in the email to delete the message from the server that automatically logs us in and takes us to that feature and only asks verification of "do you really want to delete". That would be a time saver and stop the annoyance of hearing that stutter dial tone when there are no new messages.

Thanks for listening.

Or what would be really great is an option that is you have the VM mailed to you that it doesn't go to or stay on the server and is deleted when sent.

I can see problems with that when for one reason or another the E-Mail doesn't go through properly (could be anywhere in the chain of transmission from VT to your E-Mail mailbox) and then suddenly you've completely lost an irrecoverable voicemail message... It's a good thought, but I'd say a delete voicemail link is much more viable and less risky.

In the two years that I was on Vonage, I never encountered a situation where that was an issue. Although, there could be a first time.

I just think it's a little safer to have it sent in the E-Mail, and then have a link in the E-Mail that says "Delete voicemail from your VT Mailbox".. clicking that link is no extra work, and should something happen to your E-Mail you're not out of luck..

then again, it could also be an option to auto-delete but i would put a big blinking red disclaimer that says "use at your own risk" :)

Delete option in the email. I have it set to forward to my gmail and my gmail forwards to my wife's email. But if I happen to not have the computer handy or am traveling back to the house and then pick up the phone I know to go check the computer. I hate listening to voice mail over a phone for some reason.

Other situation would be if the wife is at the house but not on the computer or stepped outside she'll know about it. But if I delete it through email link someone has taken action regarding the message and I will either call her or she will call me if it's important enough.

How about adding the following three choices to the VM/email control panel tile (of course, if voicemails are not forwarded by email, they'd stay in New Messages) :
(A) Forward voicemail, and leave in New Messages
(B) Forward voicemail, and delete message from server
(C) Forward voicemail, and move to Old Messages (or custom folder)

I would think those three options would cover about every way to receive voicemails. :)
