View Full Version : I want the WAV file emailed to me

I've been using BrainCast for a few days, mainly to leave myself reminders of things to do while I'm driving and can't write them down. But it's a little bit of a nuisance to have to go to the BrainCast website to play the messages. I LOVE ViaTalk's ability to automatically email me a WAV file of a voicemail; I'd like BrainCast to do the same thing so I wouldn't have to leave my email program to listen to the reminder messages.

I agree that it would be VERY nice to have the WAV file emailed. It would also be very handy if the RSS feed could be configured as a podcast type feed (e.g. RSS with Enclosures) so my podcast client could automatically download my Braincast messaged. I use this service every day for sending notes to my self, particularly while driving (Braincast is on my cellphone hands-free speed dial!) and it would be nice to have the messages waiting in my inbox or podcast client automatically.
I agree too. I just joined, haven't even used it yet, but thought that was part of the deal. It would also be nice to have the ability to use more than one email address per registered phone number. I want to be able to receive the emails at work and home.

Or if you have a viatalk account then have it e-mailed to that particular main account..

I'd like to see this too. The funny thing is if you log in to your web account and email the message to yourself again it does include the attachment... go figure?

Also make the e-mail a mp3 file just like they have for google talk if you can get some licensing or royalty free license that you can use for that type of encoding..

This would be a great option for those who already are members of ViaTalk only though...

Couldn't agree more... I just started using Braincast about a week ago. While I really do appreciate the simplicity of the system, and have been saved once or twice already, it would make things so much easier if there was a way to email the file.

I also use Braincast in the car to leave myself a reminder about sometime or about an idea. But then I forget to check Braincast when I get to a computer, an email would be a briliant idea.

Jerry: You should already receive an email with a link to your recording immediately after you leave the Braincast message.

Why not just call your ViaTalk number and leave a message for yourself? ViaTalk will e-mail your voice messages in MP3 format to any address you set in your control panel. Braincast seems redundant to me - am I missing something?

Then you have to deal with someone at your home possibly answering the home phone.

Hi,
Braincast is now set to automatically send the wav attachment as soon as you leave a message.

Jott.com is starting to charge for its services soon. I think its time to come back to Braincast!

Does anyone know where to find audio or wav files for The King of Queens?
