I'm not sure if this should go in a feature request/suggestion section or not. Does anyone know how to setup hunting so that when I'm on a call, it will send the call to another number immediately? Right now it doesn't ring my next number until it times out ringing the call waiting. A friend of mine simulated this by simul-ringing both numbers but I really don't like that because it ends up ringing both lines on my phone at the same time.

This is the only reason I still keep my Vonage account since they have this capability. I'm hoping someone has an answer so I can switch over completely. I have written support several times and they open tickets but they never answer the question. This is what leads me to the assumption that it might not be currently possible.

Oh, I can do this with the routing but it has to match a specific caller id to work. I want it to work with all calls.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It's Jeff.

I think Viatalk would have to give you the option to disable Call Waiting. If you did that, then calls would immediately go to the call hunt (or voicemail) without ringing your line.

Right now there is no way to disable call waiting from the Viatalk control Panel. I think someone told me that they could disable Call waiting on your account by creating a web ticket. Not sure though since I didn't do this.

They still actually ring the line, ive found you get a small chirp or one ring through the viatalk line.
