Yes, this should be defualt with any voicemail system.

This is the only voice-mail system that I have EVER seen that does not have a date-time stamp on each message. This causes a particular problem for me because I get calls to my home phone from work. Depending on the time the call was made I can judge the urgency. If I am not at a place where I can log into my account and check the time-stamp I am up a creek.

Please implement this feature.

This is actually already possible, it is only enabled upon request however. You can simply submit a ticket to the support department requesting this get enabled. Thanks

Would this make sense to turn on globally (as every voicemail system I have used in the past announces the timestamp by default) and have customers submit a ticket if they do not want it?

I just had VT turn this on for me. However, it only reads off the timestamp in EST (where I am PST). What can VT do to fix this so that it reads off the time in everyone's appropriate timezone? I understand there could be challenges with this, but can it be done? I got a little excited that I could finally use timestamps in voicemail when you posted that it could be done, but now I'm a little disappointed and may have to have it turned off again. It may seem small, but I really don't want to have to convert the timestamp every time I hear it. Thanks.

Lets put an option in the CP to turn this on or off.
