wierd stats, any one else got this ?

OK I am wondering how you all find your stats, plus I would like some feedback from the HR guys too...

Mine seem strange and when I ran them through webtrends professional suite they seemed to make much more sense..

Well for example here are yesterdays stats for my site http://www.wannabebig.com

Hits 11831
Pageviews 284
Sessions 331


OK... Well first thing that hits me is that there are more sessions than pageviews !! surely this is impossible ?

Also do HR stats show uniques for each day ?

Below is the the same day run through webtrends..

Hits 11,897
Pageviews 1,581
sessions 426
Unique visitors 347

As you can see there are more page views than sessions which make sense.. I would prefer to believe this but I am not one to kid myself I wanna know the truth !!! :)

Please help and tell me your expereineces and views with this..

More sessions than page views is very possible. Especially if you have registered your site with a seach engine and they are looking for a links.pl file or something similar.

I can understand about the search engine stuff, but since I have been with HR everday pageviews are less than sessions and I just wonder why webtrends brings it up the other way around..
