A possibly transparent change to the ViaTalk control panel, could be to allow the network down forwarding number to be active when trunk registration is lost, WHILE Internet forwarding is configured.
If you use the internet forward feature and forward to a sip context on your own asterisk server and your network goes down, callers only hear silence when they dial your number. It appears that internet forwarding overrides the network down number settings.
Would it be possible to do some "behind the scenes" program changes that will change the priority so that network down forwarding is always active even with internet call forwarding active, unless no number is entered in the internet down forwarding settings? Or perhaps a check box selection to make it active during internet forwarding would be more feasible?
Thanks
