500 error w/ formmail

Thanks in advance for any help you can give:

My form isn't working, I've gone through every possible scenario I can imagine and have seen written about.

My customer keeps their email on an in-house server - they don't use their website hosting service to receive their email.

Would this render the standard $mailprog line incorrect? I'm thinking it would be a different address for the sendmail program if it's on an outside server.

Any ideas?

500 errors from Apache are internal server errors. Nothing to do with the client end mail program. Are people getting this error on form submission?
