Automatic repeat dialing

Hello,

I'd like to request automatic repeat dialing.

If you get a busy signal when dialing someone, you hang up the phone and dial something (some phone companies use *66) and you'll get a brief message saying auto-repeat dialing is on. You then hang up the phone and go about your business. If the number you dialed becomes free and starts ringing within a period of time (configurable, defaults to 30 minutes) then you will hear your own phone ring a special ring (configurable, default to bellcore-r3 or something). You then pick up your phone and wait for your party to answer.

Ditto that request. Again, probably not that difficult, but the user must understand that even though the call could be connected at the moment the server called back the user, it doesn't mean that the outgoing line/number won't be busy by the time the next attempt is made.

I've just reviewed the "feature list" and saw this wasn't included (at least, not as a name I recognized) so I just wanted to "bump" this thread so it showed up in the current topics list and not forgotten about. :)

The question on this one is that it's been suggested that it is there already.

The adapter appears to support this on its own and there have been posts about it working though it didn't work for me the one time I tried. I'll see if I can get some clarification.

I've seen the codes in the PAP2 for this, but when I tried it (around 6 months ago or so) nothing happened. To be fair,I have not tried it recently.

I will try it again tonight.
