I noticed my friends over at ultimatehorsesite.com are offline. Interesting. Is this what "unlimited bandwidth" means. Looks like it means "unlimited so long as you do not have too many concurrent connections". I see that all "unmetered" hosts are the same. Now I am off to webhostingtalk forums if I don't see them back online in a very short time.

Delete the post if you like. I have taken a screenshot of it so you will just look even worse and confirm what I am saying here. If it's money you want, I'll let you have it but please bring them back online.

Now I have submitted a support ticket. I wonder when (if) you will respond? Why do you not offer a "thumbs down" smiley for the post icon I wonder?

Wow. Couple of things:

1. This is a customer forum. While HR does go through it every so often you shouldn't be directing "you" type posts to HR since their customers are the ones who are on here most. Save the finger pointing for the Trouble Ticket where it belongs.

2. I think you're making a big assumption that they turned off your site deliberately for using too much bandwidth. How can you know that until you ask them? Good thing that you sent in a ticket or called first since those are the appropriate ways of getting a response.

3. They don't typically delete threads unless they're completely obscene. Search around and you can see many posts here that contain complaints (as well as praise) about their service. This is one of the reasons why I like using this company so much. They aren't afraid of a little negative feedback!

Also, looks like the site is up fine as well.

Servers are not to be used for the hosting or serving of file downloads. Any site with traffic or disk usage consisting more than 33% of file downloads (non html traffic) may be suspended. Customers are not permitted to open connections to the server at a rate of more than 3,000,000 connections/month. Customers are not permitted to run scripts on their account with us, to monitor connections and status's of other servers (gaming servers for example). Customers are not permitted to get multiple accounts with HostRocket, for the purpose of getting extra bandwidth only, to avoid bandwidth overage charges. Customers are not permitted to host multiple separate domains (not referring to parked domains) on one account unless this is a feature of they account they have ordered. HostRocket can and will terminate accounts of people using our servers not to host their domain but only scripts.

It would not be fair for the other people on the same shard host if you are hogging all the bandwidth or system resources.
