Hi folks.
I just started using the service today, so my feedback is "short".
1. Audio quality is great.
2. Delay could be improved a little bit on international calls.
3. You need to clean up the website a bit, for example,
3a - have a clear place for account login on the main page, not 3 clicks/pages away.
3b - have a clear table of the "extra" features and how much they cost, what's up with the soft phone?
4. Would it be possible to download the voicemail from a computer? Maybe include a link with the email reminder sent.
5. Is there a way to place a call from the computer? Like click on a link and it'll make my phone dial for me? For starters this could be done from the account webpage (once you log into the viatalk website). For example I should be able to place a call from the "My calls" page by clicking on a number (maybe get a confirmation window). Then my phone rings and the call is placed. Maybe keep a contacts list online. Integration with other software or the OS would be nice but since I use Linux chances of that comming to my os/app of choice soon seem slim. Dialing from my account page at the viatalk site should be fairly simple and require no extra authentication.
6. Is there a way to call my viatalk phone from a SIP phone or other SIP softphone? Say if I'm using the Xten phone or if I'm on FreeWorldDialup is there a way to call my phone through Voip without going through the PSTN?
