How about showing a final "invoice" before you finalize sign up so that the user has a last chance to change billing mode or plan?

I'll mention that to our web designer as a possibility for a future site design.

Right now, the user can just give us a call when they receive the final confirmation if they need to make changes prior to the charge for the invoice being processed.
