View Full Version : Viatalk Wifi Phones?

I've noticed that many of the other major VOIP providers are now testing VOIP Wifi phones for possible market introduction within the next few months. In fact, I saw an article last week that a company called Hop-on released a $39 wifi Voip phone. It seems that this is going to be the next wave of mobile communications, is this something that is on the horizon for Viatalk?
If there's any chance to be part of Viatalks Wifi beta group...count me in!

We actually have already been testing this internally.

How many people here would be interested if it were something we released?

I would be interested in being a beta tester for it. It's something I could use both at home, at work, and on the road. Most of the places I go these days have wireless connections. Let me know if you decide to go that direction.

I think it would be neat, but I don't think I would pay for the adapter.

Great. It looks like we're getting a good response from the sources we're checking so this is likely something you'll see later in the year.

How cool would it be for Viatalk to beat the big guy (the other "V" word) to market with Wifi VOIP Phones??

Count me in. I'm headed to Europe in 2 weeks.. Would love to test from Internet Cafe & Hotel. Any chance it'll be ready for beta by then?

That would be extremly cool to have. I just of via talk about 4 weeks ago and i love hoe cheap it is, and a wifi phone would really top it off.

If ViaTalk is thinking about a Wi-Fi phone I would love to beta test it. :)
