I have an old Compaq Windows 98 Pentium 2 that i am going to upgrade its memory and RAM on. Currently it's just a "straight out of the box" PC,in which case it hasn't gotten any previous RAM or mem. upgrades (or anything for that matter). I was justwondering if anyone had any ideas on components i could use for this project, and keeping a low price is always a main priority. The PC works fine, i just want it to have more mem. and RAM to enhance its performance. Seeing how many new components aren't suitable for this relic, I'm wondering if anyone could suggest anything at all.
Thanks.

I don't know what type of memory you need, but pricewatch.com usually has some pretty low prices - be careful though - sometimes the prices are probably too low, if you know what I mean. ;)

Crucial.com is also a great place to get RAM. They have a wizard type setup that you can folow to make sure you get the right kind of RAM for your machine.
