Viatalk Phone Number(s)

Hello, I am interested in the Viatalk service. However, I have a question that was not address in the FAQs. Do you get a new phone number as part of the service or must you also pay for a "virtual" phone number for $3.95 a month.

Also, the VT Business Unlimited includes a fax line? Does that mean you have two numbers then or it some special software/hardware that merely recognizes an incoming fax.

I do not work for ViaTalk but I can answer part of your post. You can get a number number or you can transfer your existing one. A virtual number is something you get additionally to be local for other areas. If you lived in NY and had family in CA you could have your regular NY number and add a CA number your family could call as local that would ring on the same line. You're not in CA, but with the number you're "virtually" there.
