I signed up last week and received my adapter today. After I made all the connections per the instructions I was uable to get a dial tone.

The power light on the adapter flashes intermittently and the phone light does not light at all.
I use Time Warner road runner cable service routed through a 6 port hub serving two computers.

Viatalk tech tells me it is a problem at my end. Has anyone seen this issue before?

Thanks,
Ed

The best thing to do is give our office a call at 866-25-PHONE and let a technician help you out. It sounds like you may have already spoken with someone, but if not, give us a call. That's the fastest route to resolution.

Do you know how many IP's your isp lets you use? If you have several things already on the hub you may be out of IP's. A way to test this would be to unplug something that currently has an IP, reset your cable modem, then reset the power on your Adapter.

It looks like I have a faulty adapter - HR tech can not come up with a reason for the adapter power light to flash intermittently and continually. I have tried the reset code to no avail.

Time Warner Road Runner claims they do not block any VOIP data.

If that's the case, we can get you a replacement so you'll be up and running. Just call our office to make arrangements for that.

Hi Tim,
I did that and got disconnected - I emailed them - hopefully that will be more effective.
