how do you create email addresses for other people so that they will be able to access their mail without having to log into your control panel?
thanks,

Hello,
You can create E-mail accounts in your control panel. Give them a username and password.
Then, have them goto http://yourdomain.com:2095
Yourdomain being your website.
they can login with their username@yourdomain.com
and then they add their passwrod
Tell me if that works. Post it here. If so, I am glad I could be of help. I like to help people, and I am getting smarter at this stuff everyday. Maybe soon, I could work for a hosting company.
Please tell me if it works.
Also,
remember to tell them not to spam. YOU, the OWNER OF THE ACCOUNT, could incurr charges. I know AOL and a lot of other places are cracking down on SPAM. I, personally, hate it too. Just tell them only to send noraml things, and not spam, or you might get busted.
THanks,

thank you :) i still have a few questions, though -
1/ when i use http://yourdomain.com:2095 to read mail, it works fine. however after i log out and re-enter, it automatically pops up to my email account. is there any way to prevent that?
2/ after assigning the other users passwords, how are they able to change them without accessing my control panel?
thanks for your help!

I am not sure for a fact, because I don't work for HostRocket, I just like to help people. But, I think it is always there, unless you delete it in the box. If you are on the same computer, it will say your screenname, but no your password unless you check the box. Other computers, it is better.
As well as the passwords, I don't think they can. I think you have to do it for them in your control panel. I could be wrong, you might want to ask John. He might know.
Glad I could be of some help!
