Our dedicated server has been down for several hours. I've been calling their supposed "24/7 live support" line every ten minutes and keep getting the message "Due to an unusally high volume of calls we are unable to take your call." It then hangs up! This is appalling.
When calling, are you using option 4 for dedicated server support? I called and got right through to someone. I then hanged up since I don't need any support.

What happened to the 1 hour turnaround on hardware failures?
I can only assume this is a switch or router failure, but how long could THAT take to replace?
I notice the shared support line is also not answering phones...
Hey HR, here's a frigging hint, if you're not going to answer phones and your having tech problems, how about posting a notice so I can relay this to my customers who are screaming this morning.
Te see the notice "All servers are operating at 100%" just infuriates me.
I am loosing business and income all morning (Sunday is my busiest day of the week). How about if we stop paying YOU or send you home today without pay?
This surely exceeds the downtime guarantee and I better be issued a credit for this BS.
Yahoo is also re-indexing (since April 1st) and being down does not help improve my already mixed up web listings.
Where are the UNHAPPY smiley's?????

Well, now we know why we can't get through...people are calling and hanging up, blocking up the system.

Got ahold of Ian after the goofballs who were calling without any issues cleared the lines, and found our server was the only one that did not reboot after
the power outage this morning.
This is par for the course this month...first Yahoo dropped our site after their April Fools re-index (for no reason) and then problems like this....it must be my "month in the box".
Just to clarify after the re-boot I found our server went down sometime after 2:51am and came back at about 10:15am.
That's great...7 hours of downtime.

If that comment is in reference to KLH -- I hope you understand that he was trying to help out and find an answer to the problem with phone support.
