i have just transfered domain and been using everyone.net's email service.on my previous host i have been using mail.balanghai.com to access/log-in to everyone.net's emails service.because i have been offering my clients with a free email. (yourname@balanghai.com) when i surf to mail.balanghai.com i am automatically redirected to everyone.net's email service for balanghai.com.. i cant figure out why hostrocket could not configure it the way it should be done.

I use everyone.net -- and I have to go to mydomain.mail.everyone.net in order to login.

You need to send in a ticket with the info that everyone.net gave you. They will set it up.

The reason is that the MX records that HR use is set to mail.yourdomain.com (.net .org or what ever) by default.

you have to get HR to modify your MX records to point to everyone.net 's server. Youd be best to create a subdomain and use it that way and offer email in a subdomain form..eg
yourname@email.domain.com

You cant creat a subdomain called mail.domain.com because the MX records by default are

mail.yourdomain.com

now i can send mails using balanghai.mail.everyone.net, but the problem is that accounts on everyone.net could not recieve any mails. all emails that must be sent to everyone.net (e.g edann@balanghai.com, user: edann only exists on everyone.net mail) are all sent to my default email account in HR which is gecko@balanghai.com.

Yes.. you will need to contact Brandon or other techs and ask them to edit to MX records to point to everyone.net instead of your account on HR.

After the MX records have been modified, you can no longer use your pop3 email unless you set up a subdomain where you can use that for your own pop3 or vise versa.
