Hi all,

I don't think the server is down, but I am having trouble accessing a script on my site. It is a photo album script called PopPhoto Studio. It has been running fine for several months, but seems to have disappeared. All of the files are there, but nothing loads when I try to access http://www.lhstudio.com/proofs

I have sent in a TT to HR, but thought I would see if anyone here had any thoughts. I have just upgraded to the Rocket2 account and added a domain name. Could that have anything to do with it?

Any ideas?

Are you missing an Index page or is there something strange in an .htaccess file?

There is still an index.php file there. I can see it through FTP and I viewed it through the HR File Manager and it looks OK to me. As for the.htaccess file, I haven't changed anything on my site lately except the additional domain name and changing my account to the rocket 2.

I thought at first it might be something in the PHP or MySQL on the server, but everything else that uses those on my site works fine. HR has sent me a response to my TT stating that they have sent it to a "Higher Level Technician". That does not sound good to me.

If you think of anything else, let me know and I will update with what I find out.

it pays to take the time to keep complete root backups! I lost a whole dedicated server in my young naieve days thanks to not backing things up!

If they escalated the ticket then that's a good indicator that it isn't something that you can do on your own. Let us know if they get it resolved today.

This is what HR sent back to me:

This appears to have something to do with the template
system in your script. It could be a number of things, but
we cannot offer support on the script. We have not made any
changes to the server which would effect your script. The
developer of the script should be able to help you with this
as it is probably happened to other users\' of this script.

I'm checking with the script developer now to see what I can find out there. I'll keep you posted.

OK, so here is what happened. I sent a TT to HR and they said it sounded like a script problem. I sent a support request to the script developer and they said that it sounded like a server issue. Sounds about right, doesn't it??

Anyway, today it is working properly, but I have no idea why. I don't know if one of the two did something to make it work or if it just decided it would run again. I'll let you know if I hear anything else.

Yeah, but it is the thought that they may automatically mess up again that worries me. I would like to have known, what the problem was. That way I could feel like it was fixed. Now I just get to wait for it to happen again,

Ok Guys. Here we are again. It has dissappeared again. I am not doing anything to it, but it just keeps evaporating and then it will return.

I have also had an additional problem lately. The script uses Flash to view the images as a way of helping protect them from download and that stopped working a few days ago and then suddenly started working again and then went out again. Now I can't get that part of the site to load.

Netscape just shows a blank page or dosen't switch from the page I am on and IE just gives me the "This Page Can Not Be Displayed" error. This is the same thing that happened before. Could someone be messing with it somehow? if so, how can I find out and what can I do to stop it.

If not, what would you suggest. Should I reinstall or upgrade maybe?

Any help would be great. This is driving me crazy.
