I am just getting ready to put a web page online that i just finished building. I need some help tho with what to do. I used frontpage becuause i want to put up a quicky for my company so that we can get the ball rolling. I know how to use MX studion but to tell you the truth i have never placed my own desighns from a program to the WWW. if someone could help me step by step on how to get my frontpage web page actually so i can type in the adress and it pops up I would be more then thankful and mabye later on I can help you with something. :) Now i just sighned up with hoswt rocket so they could host my page along with others that I have built but dont knwo how to get on the web. I have published them in the programs that i have but what do i do next? Thanks for your help its very much appriciated.

all you should have to do is copy the contents of the directory where your frontpage webpage was created to your public_html folder. To get to this folder just...

1. if you have a FTP program, just input the address to your ftp and you should be able to drag and drop all of the information over. If not, proceed to #2.

2. open internet explorer. type in the url ftp://username:password@ftp.yourdomainname.com of course making the appropriate changes to the username/password/yourdomainname. The username/password are the same that you would use to access the Control Panel. Once you're into this window it will show a list of folder. You should see public_html here. If you do not see it, then your view may be set to automatically display the public_html folder which is fine. Copy the contents of your website here and then open your domain in another browser. It should be displaying fine.
