Has anyone else run into this problem? I made the subdomain WhiteRose off my domain of DragonLairs.net so its WhiteRose.DragonLairs.net, just like my other subdomains...
but when I go to it, or a few friends do, they run into some car page that appears to be running off some other domain.

Is this possible to register like that? I checked my pages, if I go into DragonLairs.net/WhiteRose my pages are there, sometimes I also get redirection errors.

Do I need to write them & tell them to take it off their area? It only appears to be a placemarker page, its has dead links all over it, so I am quite confused here.

Any help is appreciated, I know its not HR's fault, they are showing the right pages in my index, & I checked my acct & its not been cracked so I doubt that is the issue.

Thanks,

Diane

Sounds like somewhere along the line that IP pointing for the subdomain got hozed and it needs to be resubmitted to the Internic database.

Hello,

Your Sub-domain has an A Record :

WhiteRose.dragonlairs.net has address 216.74.71.36
WhiteRose.dragonlairs.net has address 63.90.174.50

However it should be
WhiteRose.dragonlairs.net has address 216.74.114.15

You should send a trouble ticket to HR

I think it is HR fault since its their Name Server

Humm, interesting, many thanks for digging that up. Guess I'll drop HR a note then & see if they can straighten it all out.

Again, many thanks to you both, most appreciated.

Yes it was, I dropped a trouble ticket on it with all the info that Mahmoud was nice enought to post for me & Brandon got it fixed, within about 4 hrs or so if I remember right.

Another kudos to HR, I've had 3 small errors in the few mths I've been a member, they have either resolved them or helped me find a way to get it resolved. For the small price I pay a month, the service is far above excellent, so there are no complaints from me about HR.

and by the by, its "her" not "him" <g>.
