Joining a Domain Error

I am trying to attach a new workstation to my WinNT 4.0 domain, but keep on getting the following error:

'Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are noit allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again."

I made sure that the username and password logging onto the domain are unique and that nobody else is using it. Still, the problem persists.

Any ideas?

First rule: windows error messages don't always reflect the true nature of the problem. Unfortunately, I've never had that particular error myself, so I can't help much...
