well, it certainly is not a new idea, but I want to program a database service. I started working on it last night, I figure that the hardest part of it will be presenting the information in a useable way, im programming it in python and am working on some regular expression handleing, I'm having trouble with finding out how many feilds were in a table right now. For now I'm making it one program that lets you run commands, but when I get done I will make it Server/Client so programming languages can access it.
Anyone hane any ideas?

I've got a project that fits your description and I'm seeking collaboration to re-create and develop a new database on www.securitydealers.com with 14,000 records.
At the risk of getting flamed I joined this Forum and responded to your message, since I'm an independent entrepreneur seeking colaborators on a project.

siliconpalms: I doubt you'll get a flame on this. However, if you are recruiting people specifically for this work, the "Job Offers & Assistance" forum is more appropriate (though I do understand you're specifically responding to this thread, so don't take it as a rebuke :) ).
