Problems with FTP

I am trying to upload a large number (approx. 50) of image files using FTP. Regular html files transfer fine but these image files are relatively large (700kb) and it just isn't working. The connection times out and nothing is transferred. Initially, I tried using Frontpage, but the program hangs when trying to retrieve the file listing from my hostrocket location. I have also tried CuteFTP and it just won't transfer. I forget the exact error message I've been receiving. I've filed a trouble ticket, but I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing problems.

I would recommend using filezilla. Its a great little FTP application. I've previously had problems with anything that WASN'T filezilla and transferring large numbers of files/directories and things would just time out like crazy and drop.

Filezilla is of course free. Search for it on google. (I would provide you a link myself, but I'm sore and googlelazy right now).

I've uploaded 1200 files at a time with it. ;)

Rofl.. no I went through all the forums reading for things that didn't have replies.. just in case anyone needed help. I totally don't notice any of the damn dates until after I post and them I'm like 'damn it, I feel dumb'

Oh well. Maybe someone will get some help from it. I.e. download filezilla, everything else sucks.
