Does anyone know a good version of MSN which will run on a linuc OS (redhat9)? I tried using MSN with wine but it didn't work. :( If anyone can help then please let me know. :)

I think he might be talking about MSN Explorer? Not MSN messenger. I really can't tell.

If MSN Messenger, then gaim (what Strike is linking too), is one of the best all purpose IM clients.

If MSN Explorer...it's just a browser, isn't it? Can't you just use a browser like Firefox/Firebird or Mozilla?

first thing first msn? browser? your best bet for a browser is to go with mozilla foxfire, for a messenger, gaim or kopete which can be found at http://sourceforge.net , use the seach engine at sourceforge and type in Instant Messenger.

Gaim all the way. I use it with Windows too so I don't have to bother with the ads and junk.

I would register for the forum at http://www.linuxquestions.org. I've been a member there for a few years and have found countless answers to my issues with various distros.
