Hi all,

My name is Zach, and I am currently working on a database program called ZData. Right now it runs in a terminal (such as a BASH shell or in a DOS window), and it's source code is available under the GNU Public License. It is currently in the early stages of development, version 0.01. I am looking for possibly one or two coders (at least) with a little expirience in file I/O streams. I am also looking for a coder to possibly port it to Mac OSX if at all possible. Absolutely no strings attached; just work on it a little in your spare time. If you are at all interested in helping me out, or would like the source code, contact me on AIM at elzacho13 ASAP. (FYI: Im currently developing ZData with KDevelop under Mandrake Linux 9.2., and under Windows XP im using Quincy 2002.)

Questions Welcome,

--Zach

I'm interested, but i dont really have the time to sign up for a huge project right now. What with school and my own programming needs. I can help write out some trival functions and back-end type stuff if you need that kind of help.

I would love to join an opensource project, but I dont have time to break into it head-long. if you have a few small odds'n'ends that i could help with, i would be glad to do that.

let me know if you need me.

Thanks a bunch!
Yeah, I know what you mean about school and stuff, Ive just been working on it in my spare time; you know, in the evenings and stuff.... Hows about you give me your email address and I send you the code and the changelog stating the bugs and you see what you can do. Tell me what you think about that.

if you dont know anything about file streams, thats ok. If you want to help me out, ive got plenty of other things that need done too. like, for example, creating colored text for menus, creating a GUI (long-term) and a load of other things. if you want to talk to me more in depth about it, just AIM me. (elzacho13) im on a lot.

I've got AIM too, under the screenname "wknight8111" so i'd rather talk to you over that then via email (too much spam and such) I use win XP, and my webserver uses linux, so i've got experiance using that too.

do you have a website or something that we could check out?
