Im new to the programming world, im 14 years old and right now and have knowledge of python and HTML. I love creating websites and want to make them more interactive and better. is PHP for me?

do i have to purchase anything to use PHP?
do i have to have a website server? could i use my geocities one?
is it easy to learn?
is it a powerful language?

thanks, your time is well appreciated

1) No - just go to http://www.php.net and download.
2) Yes, and no, unless geocities supports PHP (doubtful).
3) Yes, if you're comfortable with C syntax, and not too hard otherwise IMO.
4) Not really - it's best suited to web use. Python is a much better choice for general use, but PHP makes dynamic web content very simple.

If your geocities account doesn't support php, you can signup for a free account here http://free.hostrocket.com. We do support php/cgi etc.
