OK I want to have some of my programs up for download on my site how do I do this???

Just post a link to their path. And the browser will download it. I assume you have zipped them - so the code would be something like:
Click here (http://www.yourdomain.com/zip/setup_db1.zip) to download

You need to have the files on the webspace first so you can diretly link it.
