Some of the most recent posts I've seen in this board don't describe their problems enough for us to help you.

Some of you have been posting problems with non-standard C/C++ libraries and environments (i.e. MFC.) You need to specify that fact so that we will have the right mindset to be able to help you. If it's a problem in regards to the standard C/C++ libraries and environment, it's easy to recognize that, and that's implicit, but if it's not, please specify the libraries and environments you're working in.

<addendum>
Also, please, please, please wrap you code in
and
tags. This will allow your code to be properly indented when it's shown.

this is a good point, benificial thoughout the entire board, for that matter.

A good general rule that applies to most things in life "don't assume we know, assume we dont know", more information is better than not enough.

On a side note, I have to continueslly bring this up at our client/managment meetings. They (end users) always assume developers "know" what they need....grrrrrr :)

ahh well...get used to "little" information
