ok, gotta post something considering the last post in here was 12-12-2002. :eek:
so...how bout them functional languages? yeeeah functional! :D
actually, since Common Lisp qualifies as functional, anyone done any Lisp hacking on OS X? i grabbed clisp from fink, but haven't had time to playing with any others.

howdy everyone! inky, jem, (vince, well i hear from ya all the time.... ;)). probably a good thing since HDC disappeared...and right when jem and i were fighting! :D it's good to hear from ya'll!
well, i still need more time to sit down and hack on me powerbook so let us know how the CL goes Vince. i also wanna see what Ocaml looks like in it but never have enough frikkin time.... :beer:

ya know, no one seems to know. Vince said he talked to some of the admins and they have no clue. i'm sure it'll go back online one of these days. but until then, it'll be right up there with the lone gunman....

Allegro Common Lisp is a multiplatform development system and has been around on the Mac for a long time.
A friend of mine, who is fond of Lisp, highly recommends this commercial Lisp. It comes with extremely good, documented and complete libraries, that makes it suitable for just about every development imaginable.

I believe the package is free for non-commercial users, but projects are limited to 50,000 lines of code.
