i have to give a shout out for one of my favorite languages and development environments, the GNAT folks just released the next public version of gnat, the GNU Ada part of GCC:
http://libre.act-europe.fr/GNAT/
ftp://ftp.cs.nyu.edu/pub/gnat/3.15p
one of the neatest features i've noticed is that gnatmake can now handle multiple "main" files. now you can get EVEN LAZIER and just do
gnatmake *.adb
and build everything in the dir...talk about easy to write makefiles....
:D
good good good stuff!
if you're bored, sick of dealing with C++ or Java, or just want to check out a great language give Ada a look:

enjoy! :)
