just talked to the guy at the place that writes the testing software (see the other thread i posted for details on the company), and he offered me a job. i accepted :)
the pay is a touch less than what i was hoping for, but hey, beggers can't be choosers :)
i start tuesday, and my shifts are 6am-3pm (which totally rules because i'll be able to avoid the majority of the traffic).

Good job inkedmn! I'm now working at Victoria's Secret... oh I'm just kidding. There's nowhere cool to work in this town, a Barnes and Noble would be awesome but we're too small.

Nice, dude. Not to mention that you'll be working the same hours I do in the far more sane CST time zone :P

AWESOME! I'm so happy for you! This is great.
QA is a great way to get into the programming department. So this could be a very good step for you.
I'm now working at Victoria's Secret... oh I'm just kidding.
Reminds me of Woody Allen in the movie "What's New Pussycat?"
Woody: I got a new job today helping the dancers at the strip club into and out of their clothes. $20 a week.
Friend: That's not very much money
Woody: It's all I could afford.

Does this mean our Wednesday night routine of beer and bot coding is out? Or just ends earlier?
And you'd better say ends earlier. ;)

gufmn, I guess I'll have to come out and hang with you guys and pick up on the bot coding, and the best part yet is that I don't drink so you get twice the beer!
