I spent several days exploring the opportunities for moving my site away from my cramped and featureless ISP-provided space to a full-featured hosting company.
The first time I saw the spec of the HostRocket economy hosting package (for $12.95 a month), my jaw fell open. I kept looking for the catch. I didn't find a catch. I just about got my mouth shut, when I saw that HostRocket has its own publicly-viewable discussion forum, containing comments from customers happy, unhappy, angry and ecstatic, my jaw dropped open again. I've now signed up and become a HostRocket customer, and so far I still can't find the catch. In fact, I keep finding nice features that I hadn't even noticed in the description.
Ever cynical, I remain convinced it's all too good to actually be true. Good or bad, HostRocket aren't scared to let me post my views here for all potential customers to read, and I'm taking that as a very promising sign.
