Mouse wheel

I know the line to add to XF86Config-4 to get the mouse wheel working under X. Though on the school machines I don't have root access. Is it possible to get the mouse working w/only "user" privledges.

recluse: can you use imwheel in user mode? I know that was the old mouse wheel solution.

Not really, but I would suggest emailing the administrators to add this. It's stupidly simple to add, and an email was all it took at my university to get them to add this support.
