Sessions not being saved

(You may recall my other thread -- I have figured out the cookie problem.)

Sessions will not work on the host I am using. I believe they aren't being saved at all. What would cause this?

I was thinking about using a database to store them with a free tool called "Pear Sessions", I believe the name is. This way would supposedly be more efficient and more secure, etc...

Comments please?

I have permissions not set... that's why I'm getting permission denied (I just figured this out). So, what do I ask the host to do about it :)

I finally fixed both sessions and cookies... wow... what a load of crap (and a learning experience too).
