SUN cert. Web Component Developer

Last year I got my java2 programmer cert. and now I'm considering going after the Web Component developer cert. I already have a job that I'm content with, but figure that I could pass the exam easily. I code servlets/JSPs every day at work. I can probably get the boss to pay for this - any thoughts?

why not?

if you're confident you can pass it and your boss will probably foot the bill, i'd say go for it...

The more certs the better. And you never know, you might switch jobs in six months and have an employer who won't pay for it. Take advantage of what you can while the opportunity is there. Just make sure you're happy with any contracts they might have you sign in exchange for paying for the classes and or tests.
