MSVC++ resource files...

Is there any way to set Microsoft Visual C++ so that I can edit the resource file manually without going into notepad? It also seems to add a bunch of crap into the resource file which really isn't needed, by me anyways.

I don't THINK you can - VC++ is supposed to protect you from the evils of a text editor...bah!
<edit> OK, I was wrong. In VC++, go to File->Open, then before you select the .rc file to open, change the Open As dropdown box to Text. (this is from the online help, btw)</edit>
