I am starting a CST program next year in college, one of the 2 languages we learn first term is ada95. When talking to the students in the program I learned that the ada95 last project was pretty hard, and many ended up staying up several nights in a row. Anyways, I was looking for a ada95 compiler to mess around with, and all of the sites where made in 1995 by programmers. As we all know programmers always make the worst most confusing sites to navigate, and explain everything like I have been programming for 20 years.

Anyways, I was wondering if someone could direct me to a URL to download a Win32 compiler for the ada95 language.

Thank You.

Yes thank you. As I said, I have trouble visiting these sites. I have heard of gnat, but have not found it to download, or anywhere explaining how to use it.

When in doubt, go Google. :D

me Ada page ici:

http://www.qlippoth.com/ada.html

lots and lots of links. but if you need more specific get:

ftp://cs.nyu.edu/pub/gnat/3.14p/winnt/gnat-3.14p-nt.exe
ftp://cs.nyu.edu/pub/gnat/3.14p/winnt/gnatwin-3.14p.exe
http://www.adapower.com/gnatcom/gnatcom-20020610.zip

there's more goddies but that's the full development package--compiler--and the win API + COM/Active X stuff.

but the best Ada resource is:

http://www.adapower.com/

good luck
