I have a question.
I run 2 partitions, one is Slackware Linux 8.0 and the other is Windows.
Currently I am having two problems:
I cannot get my USB intellimouse to work w/ gpm or in xwindows
I cannot get my onboard sound card to work.
I know what sound card I have (built in SBlive! I think) but I cant get linux to see it
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not too shure about your USB mouse. I have a slackware box that was much like a dead racoon when i first installed it (It's great now thanks to some nifty patching work). I know that RH9 has support for USB mise righ tout of the box. If you can find out what particular Chipset your soundcard uses, you could mabey find a generic driver for that particular chipset, although quite tedious, is the only way to go in that direction unless you want to make your own drivers from scratch.
