Anyone else here like Scheme/LISP besides me?
I like it. I've used it in school a few times, but I've never done any practical development in it. I was reading a book about it for a while before I got turned on to python.

i love Lisp!

i'm still working my way through Paul Graham's On Lisp
http://www.paulgraham.com/onlisp.html
and i'm loving it. it's just kinda a bummer there is no good portable free common Lisp. i mean Clisp is good, but no GUI and no native code. it's just kinda a bummer the Lisp community dosen't join efforts into a very good portable native compiler and good libs (GUI and higlevel networking libs). i'd use Lisp over Python any day for quick hacks, but it simply lacks the high level libs that spoil me--poplib for example.
Scheme is pretty cool. i haven't spent a lot of time on it because it's pretty much like Lisp junior and i'd rather use Lisp. but mzScheme/DrScheme has the right idea. a good portable Shceme implementation with hihg level libs. hum, maybe i should take another look at Scheme.... ;)
