Publishing My Site

I am building a web site for a freind. He has registered here at hostrocket and has a domain name and that stuff. Now, I built the page using frontpage 2000 and I have finished the site but can't figure out how to publish it to the domain name and can't get to the actual site. I have installed the latest frontpage extensions. Can anyone help me with that?..thx

When you are publishing to your site, make sure you are publishing to http://www.yourdomain.com or http://yourip. Note: Your IP will ONLY work if you selected the dedicated IP option upon signup, otherwise you will need to wait until your domain resolves to publish using frontpage.

Please make sure that your front page extensions are installed...
Install your FrontPage extensions by going to "Frontpage Extensions" under your Control Panel, or send in a ticket and ask to have frontpage extensions installed. How long has your friend had this domain name?

Please address these three concerns, and then I'll look further into your issue. Thanks.

How come I've never had problems uploading? If you enter the address upload to in Frontpage as ftp://ipaddresshere and enter there username and password it works.

As long as the account has been created and FTP in active, there shouldn't be a problem except you can't view it till it deligates.

Hey guys thanks for the help. My freind didn't really know what he was saying with the domain info so the site doesn't exist yet. I have it published to the ip right now and am waiting for him to get the site. Thx agian for the help.
